The Upper Sangamon River Conservancy and River Watch continue our long-term collaboration to study freshwater mussels in the Sangamon River. Join us to help collect, tag, and measure mussels. Join us for one or all four opportunities to be a citizen scientist!
Volunteers should wear clothes and old shoes, such as old sneakers, that are suitable for getting muddy and soaked. Recommended personal items include a water bottle, bug repellent, sunscreen, and a hat. A lunch will be provided for this event.
