We are holding another river cleanup this year to accommodate several people who couldn’t make it to the previous cleanup.

For this cleanup, we will meet up at 9am at Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve at the parking area by the river past the Izaak Walton cabin – please continue to the turn around area past the cabin.

Participants will ride-share from here 3 miles upriver to the put-in spot at Riverwood – Scott’s home on the river.

All other details remain the same. Canoes are kayaks are available on a first-come first served basis. We have 8 canoes and 6 kayaks.

A fried chicken and mac and cheese lunch will be provided after the cleanup.
