SUMMARY:RiverWatch Monitoring - Sangamon River at Sangamon River Forest Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers who participate in RiverWatch monitoring will collect macroinvertebrates (water bugs) from the Sangamon River and describe the physical condition of the river habitat to help determine its health. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. The events are designed for everyone\, whether they have a biology degree or simply want to understand their local watershed better. This event is free for participants\, but it does require registration by emailing Bruce Colravy at bmcolravy@msn.com.
