Calling all area Citizen Scientists!

Meet with Riverwatch field staff from the National Great Rivers Education Center to identify all of the macroinvertebrates collected from this year’s Riverwatch collection activities on the Sangamon River and four of its tributaries (Crooked Creek, Buffalo Trace, Pancake Slough and Wildcat Slough).

You are required to register HERE

No prior experience is necessary!

Microscopes and identification materials are all provided.

Come and be the Citizen Scientist you know that you are in your heart!

Meetup at 5:30pm, Izaak Walton cabin, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve.

Stay for as long as you can commit: You may come after the start and leave early if you need to.
