This is a hard working, expedition Level 3 trip down about 2 miles of the river. We’ll be in and out of boats and in and out of the river, cutting logs to open water pathways down the river in advance of river cleanup season. Please bring your tools suitable for cutting and moving logs, safety equipment, gloves and attire that can get wet (and possibly a change of dry attire for after the trip).

We will depart from the Sangamon River Forest Preserve just south of Fisher and taking out at the Hazen Bridge at CR2600. Transportation and watercraft can both be provided.
